The device OPTIMA POST-OP has been designed to contain a foot after surgery.

Research on the materials has been made in minute detail to improve its technical performance.

It is washable, can be disinfected, is breathable and x-ray transparent, with
thermoformable inserts and a padded vamp.

The post-operation OPTIMA footwear is able to meet operation needs, such as hallux valgus, mallet fingers, and tarsus operation.

Through controlled walking, the dynamic phases of foot landing and lifting are limited by a ramp that controls movement. Due to the internal stiffening of the sole, the foot is not affected by pressure, and

calf muscles keep working easing blood circulation, limiting undesirable post-operation stasis, and shortening healing time.

In the socket, inside the sole, there is a soft plantar insert, which absorbs landing impact, thus making walking more
comfortable. This plantar insert can be modified and tailormade by technicians, according to specific requirements.

The device OPTIMA POST-OP can also be used for treatment of diabetic plantar lesions. In fact, the multilayer modular plantar should be inserted into this system.
